Details of the Rudy Project Protera + helmet

• In-mold technology allows the outer polycarbonate shell to be molded directly with expandable polystyrene (EPS) during the injection phase of the shock-absorbing foam. The result is a much stiffer structure that is impact resistant, extremely lightweight and a better ventilation system. The combined action of the EPS structure, the polycarbonate cap and the exoskeleton creates resistance to the mechanical action exerted by an impact and distributes the energy away from the head.
• The Protera+ features a wide, easily adjustable visor specifically designed to improve protection from the sun and obstacles.
• The front padding of the inside minimizes the sweating process inside the helmet, improving air circulation and preventing unpleasant odors.
• The wide adjustable visor and goggle holder take Protera comfort to the next level. The visor is easily adjustable and provides additional protection from obstacles and the elements. The convenient goggle holder on the back of the helmet is the perfect solution to efficiently hold your goggles while riding.
